Case Study-Odors and Pump

A fried chicken restaurant chain found their budgets for plumbing sky-rocketing and customers complaining about obnoxious odors. They called SOS and we quickly discovered that while city ordinance requires pumping every 90 days, that cycle was too short for such a grease-intensive operation.

We shortened the pump cycle and plumbing costs stopped eating their lunch. Further, we found that the vent line for the grease traps were venting inside of some of the stores causing odors to get trapped in the restaurants. We rerouted the lines and customers could enjoy the smell of chicken again.
