Waste advisory and
Waste stream sampling
What we offer
We help you to not only assess the character of your waste stream, but determine why your process might generate Class 1 or Hazardous waste
- Pull a sample and manage the testing process
- Maintain the waste profile on file for at least 3 years
- Examine process and identify ways to mitigate environmental hazards such as Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH), Benzene, Heavy Metals, etc.
What we do
We will pull a sample from your interceptor or reservoir and send it to a state certified laboratory.
If the analysis of the waste comes back “hot” (e.g., is of Class 1 character for a grit trap), we will try to determine the source of the offending pollutants.
We will then recommend a course of action to reduce the amount of offending waste. This might include servicing more frequently, isolating “hot spots” in your process, or employing aggressive and frequent cleaning of troublesome areas.
After the course of action is taken, we will resample the waste according to local, state, and federal guidelines and determine whether the issue has been corrected. The end goal is to save your business money and to better protect the environment… these goals don’t have to be at odds with one another!
